🗺️ Location

Ride the bus! We are on Tompkins Consolidated Area Transit (TCAT) Route 22 (Parks) (note that this runs during the Summer only). The Cayuga Nature Center is stop #2932.


🍂 Things to explore while you’re here

  • Hike our miles of trails through woodlands and meadows past ponds, streams, and waterfalls.

  • Explore a bird’s-eye view in our 6-story treehouse, TreeTops.

  • Join us for an environmental or animal education program. Throughout the year we host free public programs, visit the events tab to learn more.

  • Connect to the Black Diamond Trail by following the path through the meadow. You can walk north to Taughannock Falls or south to the Museum of the Earth.

  • Consider stopping by Smith Woods for a hike as well!

ℹ️ Additional Information

  • For the safety of our campers NO PETS ARE ALLOWED in the courtyard, or the trails behind the Lodge that follow to the treehouse during camp program. Pets are allowed on the trails that do not interact with camp areas (see map for more details).
    Service animals are welcomed.

  • Cayuga Nature Center is a mask friendly facility. All individuals can choose to wear a mask or not.
